Anglo - Saxon week with Sutton Hoo - Saturday 24 July - Sunday 1 August
Visit Sutton Hoo and West Stow for the price of one ticket.  All you need to do is keep the voucher from your visit to West Stow or Sutton Hoo to claim free entry to the other site. Both sits must be made during between the dates above.
We have the following events on over this week:
A visit from the Saxons - Saturday 24 - Sunday 25 July
The English Companions visit as a group of Thegn Anglo- Saxons.  A group of nobles and their servants are resting in the Village, on the their way to visit the King in Rendlesham. Included in normal admissions, (part of joint Sutton Hoo week) for more information call 01284 728718.
 
We dig Archaeology - Wednesday 28 July
Discover Archaeology at West Stow; try ancient crafts, bring along your finds for identification, get excavating, handle objects and find out how we preserve them. Included in normal admissions, (part of joint Sutton Hoo week) for more information call 01284 728718.

Meet the Anglo Saxons - Saturday - Sunday 1 August
Meet Wulfnoth, Eadyth, Wulfynn and Aelthryth who will be living and working in the Village. Included in normal admissions, (part of joint Sutton Hoo week) for more information call 01284 728718.

Storytelling Competition - Sunday 1 August 
Lose yourself in ancient tales as they are performed by storytellers and poets in the village. See www.suffolkskald.webs.com/
 or BBC website
for further details if you are a professional or amateur poet and/or storyteller and wish to take part in this event Included in normal admission. No need to book.
