Every encouragement is given to rural groups and organisations to take advantage of the wide range of funding opportunities that are available from the borough council and the many external funding organisations. Rural groups include:
- parish councils or parish meetings;
- social enterprises;
- village hall management committees;
- playing field management committees;
- parochial church councils; and
- countryside management project groups.
The borough council’s funding source guide features a wide range of grants including:

- Suffolk rural services scheme;
- Havebury Community Investment Fund; and
- Awards for All.
