Anglian Lane: located on the north side of the A14, the estate contains a small mix of industrial and commercial uses.

Barton Road: a small linear industrial estate on the east side of town adjoining the Ipswich – Cambridge railway line.

Blenheim Park/Dettingen Way: located just off Newmarket Road with good access to the A14 Westley interchange, this estate contains a mix of commercial uses including Glasswells Ltd, Music Sales Ltd, Genusexpress Ltd and Edmundson Electrical Ltd.

British Sugar: a large site occupied by a sugar beet processing factory and associated packaging and distribution operations.

Suffolk Business Park: a very important general employment area on the east side of Bury St Edmunds. Occupants of this high quality business environment include Sealey Power Products, Denny Bros Ltd and the John Banks Honda Centre. With a substantial area undeveloped and with good access to the A14 and the trunk road network this site represents an excellent opportunity to relocate.

Mildenhall Road: an estate on the north-west outskirts of the town adjoining the A1101 Mildenhall Road.  A number of important employers are located within the estate including G W Padley Ltd, Premier Foods Ltd, Top Form Visual Communication Ltd and Abbeyhine Ltd.

Moreton Hall: located in an advantageous position in close proximity to the Sainsbury interchange on the A14, this estate contains a wide mix of industrial and commercial uses including leisure, retail, financial services and car dealers.

Western Way: a traditional industrial estate located on the west side of the town just off of Newmarket Road. Occupants include Vinten Broadcast Ltd, Haldo Developments Ltd, Amot, Uson Ltd and Thales Optronics (Vinten) Ltd. There is the current potential for redevelopment with a number of units being unoccupied or underused.
