Destination Haverhill

Destination Haverhill logoAn internationally recognised retail body is working with Haverhill to produce a model of best practice for town centre retailers. Kent Business School is developing a programme to establish a regular flow of information for retailers, master classes in retailing skills for independent traders and a fast track to the high street for new retailers.

Shoppers tell it like it is

Join the active group of shoppers who help Haverhill's retailers by providing valuable feedback on their shopping experience. Leading retail thinkers at the Kent Business School have established a shoppers' survey and regular discussion groups in the town, to provide its traders with crucial information that will help strengthen the town.

Take the shopper's survey

The 2011 shopper survey opens on 22 November and closes on 2 December. Printed forms are available in shops and public buildings in town, where they can also be returned; or complete the online Haverhill shoppers survey

Sign up to our shopper's discussion group

This group meets two or three times during the year, to talk about their shopping experience in Haverhill, enjoy tasters provided by retailers and hear about their plans. To join the group please email andrea.mayley@stedsbc.gov.uk, and we will send you details of the next meeting.

Retail therapy

Independent Haverhill retailers are being offered top professional advice about their businesses, on a one-to-one basis and through a series of master classes. The programme is being led by Professor Andrew Fearne of Kent Business School, the retail guru behind such schemes as the Tesco loyalty card.
