| Café Clare is situated in the Clare Moot House. The building originated in the 16th Century, but could be earlier! Our quaint property and the adjoining properties once comprised the Moot Hall of Clare.
Café Clare specialises in a rich tapestry of local foods, wines, teas and coffees, ranging from black-bacon sandwiches, to Suffolk ham and Suffolk Cheese plates, to daily specials, all of which can only be described as typically English.
We have a strong belief in the quality of local produce in Suffolk and all our offerings are home-cooked, sourced from locally suppliers. In addition, we offer something for that quintessentially English afternoon tea, with offerings ranging from scones, to high-teas, to champagne teas for that special occasion.
Whilst our building is quirky reflecting its age, we welcome children and disabled guests. |
