Suffolk Regiment Gallery, Moyse's Hall Museum
The Suffolk Regiment are very well represented in Bury St Edmunds; the Regimental Gallery in Moyse's Hall Museum presents an overview of the 275 years of the Regiment's history, and features the original Colour of Colonel Scipio Durore which was last carried into action at the Battle of Seringapatam, in May 1799. There are a series of figures representing the Regiment through the ages, for example the Keys to Gibraltar were presented to the Regiment to commemorate their part played during the Great Siege of Gilbraltar in the 18th Century.
