Rushbrooke
Rushbrooke is a charming village which has a most unusual 16th century church with an interesting story to tell. The building was extensively altered in the 19th century by Colonel Rushbrooke, a keen woodworker, who changed the seating plan to that of a college chapel (seats facing the centre). It is said he often worked through the night in order to complete his work. There is a typical village pub, the Rushbrooke Arms, which has indoor and outdoor children's play areas.
