The park and ride service operates in the run up to Christmas each year
Our seasonal park and ride service in bury St Edmunds began with the Christmas Fayre at the end of November and will run on the three Saturdays leading up to Christmas, 3, 10 and 17 December.
The park and ride runs from:
- Olding Road car park, easily accessible from the west junction of the A14 (junction 42). The drop off and pick up point is the bus station in the town centre.
- Kempson Way on the Moreton Hall Estate, with easy access to the East exit on the A14. The drop of and pick up point is Honey Hill, next to Angel Hill.
Both sites will operate from 10am to 5.45pm. The cost is £4 per car, regardless of how many passengers.
Free parking on Friday mornings in Haverhill
Between 8am and 11am, on the four Fridays leading up to Christmas, 2, 9, 16 and 23 December there will be no charge for motorists using St Edmundsbury Borough Council's pay and display spaces in Haverhill.
The free parking only applies to the council's pay and display places, not private car parks.
