Barningham

Barningham is a village 12 miles north east of Bury St Edmunds. There are approximately 350 households with a village population around 950. They have a thriving village shop run by Spar, a flower shop and an excellent thatched pub 'The Royal George' which offers good food. The village primary school caters for the younger children and they then generally go to Blackbourne Middle School in Stanton and eventually to Thurston Upper. The beautiful 15th Century church, St Andrew’s, holds regular services. The village hall offers a very useful space for all sorts of activities. The parish council has just refurbished the playground close to the village hall. There is a parish council website with a lot more information about the village, just follow the link below.
