East Town Park is open all year round from 8.30am. The car park closes at dusk. Admission is free.

East Town Park Green Flag Award Winner!
East Town Park in Coupals Road, Haverhill is a country park to the east of Haverhill on the very edge of town. The 38 acre park is the centre for a network of footpaths that extend around Haverhill and along the old railway track, eventually linking up with the Stour Valley Walk that runs for 60 miles from Cambridgeshire through West Suffolk to Essex following the river valley and passing through the Dedham Vale an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The park has many attractive mature trees which have been added to with a programme of new tree planting. The park centre is a converted stable block that contains modern interpretation against a background of rustic charm from a bygone age. The car park and children's play area for two to 12 year-olds are near to the centre and there is an easy access trail that takes you around some of the interesting features on the landscape and introduces you to the wildlife in the park. A variety of events are held in the park throughout the year, regular favourites include the Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Trail.
Motts Field next to East Town Park has 2 grass pitches for hire. Abbeycroft Leisure are responsible for taking bookings for these facilities. To book a pitch and to obtain fees and charges please call them on 01440 702548.
