Parks events and activities

The parks and open spaces of St Edmundsbury offer a wide range of opportunities to have fun, keep fit and learn something new.

Get the most from our craft workshops

The Park Rangers can show you how to make some natural Christmas decoration, or perhaps you would like to try making a willow sculpture? Children love our pumpkin lantern sessions and you can make a garden in a shoe or boot. Download the ranger events leaflet April - June 2012 (PDF 306 Kb) for more information.

Volunteering in the parks

Your chance to make a difference. Over 3000 hours of volunteer time is given each year to improve our beautiful parks. The volunteers do a brilliant job improving habitats for wildlife and creating new future on the landscape. Join up with the conservation volunteers.
