Two outstanding male voice choirs are coming together to celebrate 70 years of making glorious music when they perform in the Mayor of St Edmundsbury’s Charity Concert at St Mary’s Church, Bury St Edmunds, at 7.30pm on Saturday 2 August.
 
Summer road works planned for St Andrews Street South

Enhancements to St Andrews Street South, the road between the historic core of Bury St Edmunds and the new town centre development, mean that it will be closed to traffic from 21 July until November. It will remain open for pedestrians and businesses will be operating as usual throughout the works.
 
Boundary Committee announces the Local Government Review proposals

The Boundary Committee for England has published its proposals for future local government in Suffolk.
 
 
Residents in St Edmundsbury are being asked for their views on the removal of 42 Public pay phones in the borough, mainly in rural locations.
