Interested in history and archaeology? Aged between 8 and 16 years of age?

Then the Bury Young Archaeologist club could be for you. The club has recently been formed by St Edmundsbury Heritage Service, which consists of Moyse's Hall and West Stow. We have approximately 10 events throughout the year with a variety of activities and day trips to sites in Suffolk.

The Bury Young Archaeologist club is aimed at those between the ages of 8 - 16 years of age. To join the Bury Young Archaeologist club there is an annual charge of £10 per person. Please contact Gill Hawkins on 01284 757161 or Hannah Simons on 01284 729720.

To celebrate this years national science and engineering weeks theme of 'Earth' the Bury Young Archaeologists club will be looking at how archaeologists discover what's buried within the earth without digging; have fun looking for clues about the past in ancient maps, aerial photographs and through geophysics 2pm
