• Information about badminton, golf, tennis, snooker and bowling has been added to the Leisure pages.

• Reorganised some of the Emergency planning pages putting together information about Current events and topical subjects and added information about Emergency rest centres and Guidance for evacuees.

What's new in June 2011

• Added links to local newspapers and radio on the News page.
• Archived information about Bury and Haverhill town centres redevelopment in the News section: Past news about major developments.
• Changed Emergency planning Topical subjects - to show details of any current issues (for example drought) then list links to other subjects such as keeping safe in bad weather or flu pandemics.
  

What's new in May 2011

• Added consultation: Supplementary planning document.
• Added Borough Council, Parish/town council and AV referendum election results.
• Added details of new councillors and the Mayor.
  

What's new in April 2011

• Added borough and parish/town council election information on Current elections pages.
• From 1 April 2011 Public roads are being managed by Suffolk County Council so many of the Highways and transport pages contact details have changed.
• From 1 April 2011 our Council Tax, Housing and Council Tax benefits and Business rates are being administered by the Anglia Revenues Partnership (ARP).
• Moved the Parks pages into their own section within the Leisure area of the website (previously under Sport and leisure activities). Revamped some of the pages and tidied them up.

• Added Vision 2031 page linking to information about drop in sessions and websites for Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and rural areas.
• Added information about Candidates and nominations
• Added New councillor page - with information and a slideshow for people interested in becoming a councillor
