Still time to apply for new licences

Most premises (85%) throughout St Edmundsbury needing licences under the Licensing Act 2003 have successfully applied to have them transferred. While the deadline for transfer of licences has passed there is still time for the rest to put in their applications as the Act does not come into force until November 2005.

There’s a chance to step back in time this summer, by meeting real-life Anglo-Saxon people living and working just as our ancestors would have done 1,500 years ago, at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village. ‘SUMMER 505AD’ will be under way from 15 July to 21 August and again from 27 to 30 August.
