Peckham Street in Bury St Edmunds will be closed for two days, weather permitting, from Monday 11 August, for resurfacing of the carriageway. The closure will affect the stretch from the junction with St Andrew’s Street North to the junction with Ipswich Street.
The road will be open to pedestrians and cyclists at all times, and vehicular access will be maintained to all the properties adjacent to the road. For the duration of the work, the one way restriction operating in Peckham Street will be lifted and diversion routes for vehicle travelling from the east will be around St Johns Place and St Johns Street. From the west, diversions are around Ipswich Street, Tayfen Road and St Andrew’s Street North.
