Temporary closure of Kings Road, Bury St Edmunds

29 September, 2004

From Monday 4 October Kings Road in Bury St Edmunds will be temporarily closed for two to four weeks from Parkway roundabout to Prospect Row. The diversion route will be via Parkway South, Robert Boby Way and St Andrews Street South. This is to enable Anglian Water to continue to divert a water main ready for work to commence on the new cinema.

During the closure, the entrance to Prospect Row car park via Prospect Row will still be in use from Kings Road but there will be no exit from the car park onto Kings Road. The car park exits will be via Parkway South or Risbygate Street.

For more information about these changes please contact Jacky Martin on 01284 757328 or log onto www.stedmundsbury.gov.uk.

We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause while works are taking place and thank you for your patience.
