Up close and personal with winter birds at West Stow Country Park

27 January, 2009

Visitors to West Stow can join our resident bird expert for a guided walk around the country park on Sunday 8 February between 10.30 and 11.30 am, when they can look out for some interesting feathered visitors, see how they are coping with the cold and take home a winter bird fact sheet.

Local experts will be catching, examining and ringing a variety of birds in the country park on Sunday 22 February between 9am and 11.30 am, offering visitors a closer look at the birds that visit the park.

Tickets for both events must be booked in advance and each cost £5 for adults and £3 for accompanied children. Please telephone 01284 728718.

The café will be open from 11am to 4pm for drinks, snacks and light meals.
