Additional parking spaces in Bury town centre

Forty extra car parking spaces in the heart of Bury St Edmunds are now available seven days a week for public use.

Lower Baxter Street pay and display car park is short stay with a maximum two hour visit with no return within two hours. Charging hours are Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm, and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Charges are Monday to Saturday £1.30 for up to an hour and £1.80 for up to two hours. On Sunday it costs 30p an hour.

There are two disabled parking bays reserved for Blue Badge holders only, which are free. Customers will notice improvements, such as wider bay marking, being introduced over the next few weeks.
