Blomfield Street and Bishops Road in Bury St Edmunds will be closed for five days during week commencing Monday 6 October 2008, to allow crane erection of timber frame two storey dwellings.
Both roads are closed from St Andrews Street junction, but the main area of closure is a small part at the far junction of the roads.
The one-way restriction has been lifted for the duration of the closure, and residents will be allowed access to their homes. Large lorries will not be able to come down as there may not be suitable room for them to safely reverse.
