A new overnight taxi rank providing space for four vehicles is to be introduced on Station Hill in Bury St Edmunds.
The new taxi rank will be in use from 26 June onwards, between 8.30pm and 5.30am. It will replace an existing taxi rank, which has space for one vehicle. This existing rank will no longer be used because its position affects the proposed access to new residential development taking place on Station Hill
St Edmundsbury carried out consultation with taxi drivers and bus companies before making the traffic regulation order to create the rank.
