People from across the borough are being invited to give their views on a range of disabled access vehicles at a special consultation day.
St Edmundsbury is looking to develop criteria for new Hackney carriages in the borough, and is asking for the views of groups and individuals on a range of vehicles which could be approved for use as Hackney carriages in the future.
On Tuesday (25 September), several different vehicles will be on display at the Moreton Hall Community Centre, in Bury St Edmunds, between 10am and 4pm. Staff from the council will be asking for your feedback on which of the vehicles is the most accessible and user friendly. This information will then be used to draw up criteria against which future Hackney carriage licence applications will be decided.
