Anyone who is considering going green and installing solar power can get all the help and advice they need at a special solar power information evening.
Organised by St Edmundsbury Borough Council and the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia, the event in Bury St Edmunds will give details of home renewable energy systems, DIY solar heating systems and advice on grants. The evening will also provide information on wind power, ground source heat pumps, solar electricity and climate change, and has been arranged following a successful event in Haverhill last year.
The information evening takes place on Tuesday, 27 March in the Zest Restaurant at West Suffolk College on Out Risbygate, Bury St Edmunds, from 7pm to 9pm. Anyone who takes along their March copy of the borough council’s Community Spirit magazine will be given two free low energy light bulbs.
Anyone interested in booking a place should call free on 0800 512012
