The Rwandan High Commissioner, His Excellency Ernest Rwamucyo will be taking part in Bury St Edmunds' Holocaust Remembrance Service in the Abbey Gardens at 10.30am on 27 January.
He will be joining the Mayor of St Edmundsbury, members of the cathedral, St Edmundsbury Borough Council and pupils from Guildhall Feoffment and St James Middle Schools.
The service will be conducted by Canon Matthew Vernon and the children from Guildhall Feoffment will be planting snowdrops during the singing, which will be provided by the Choir and musicians from St James Middle School.
