The Cattle Market car park in Bury St Edmunds is to reopen temporarily to ensure as many spaces as possible are available in the town for shoppers, workers and visitors.
Parts of the car park were closed earlier this month while initial site investigations took place. These areas, off St Andrews Street South, will be available for motorists to use again from Saturday (21 October).
The temporary reopening has been designed to make sure the maximum number of spaces are available for as long as possible. Parts of the car park will close again when hoardings are placed around the construction site later in the year.
