An impressive line up of events, activities and entertainments have been organised to entertain the crowds at this year’s Big Day Out, held in Haverhill.
Thanks to pledges of support from local agencies and organisations, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with something on offer for everyone. Activities include inflatable rides, a Big Brother diary room, football tournaments and the police pod.
Demonstrations will take place showcasing dog wardens, food hygiene and drugs awareness, while information stands, giveaways, face painting, competitions and a quiz to guess the mystery museum object will complete the line up.
Lots of fun and games are planned for all the family. Entrance and all the activities are free and there is no need to book, so feel free to bring a picnic and stay for the day. The event is being organised by St Edmundsbury Borough Council and Suffolk County Council’s Community Education department.
