With the bands in heat one of the BurySOUND competition setting such a high standard back in October, the groups competing in heat two on Saturday 13 November had a lot to live up to – could they do it?
There were professional, passionate and energetic performances from all five bands on the night and their enthusiasm really got the crowd going. As always though, there could only be one winner going through to the final heat so the judges had a tough decision on their hands. After a quirky and entertaining performance, Animal Planet was announced the winner and will join The Secret Hairdresser in the final heat on 11 December.
Make sure you don’t miss out on what looks set to be a lively last heat on Friday 26 November featuring Ashborn, Latah, San Francisco, The Fashion and 8 Lives Left. The best band from each heat will then compete in the much anticipated final on Saturday 11 December. You can be there to see all the bands battle it out by getting your ticket now, before they all sell out!
Ticket prices for BurySOUND are £5 in advance (£6.50 on the door if there are any left!) from the Bury St Edmunds bus and coach station, Hardcore Hobbies, MVC, Sounds Plus and Sunrise (all in Bury St Edmunds). Credit card line – Tourist Information Centre 01284 764667 (£5.50 including booking fee). Doors will open at 7pm.
