Westgate Street, in Bury St Edmunds, is to close for two nights from Monday (23 April).
The road will close from its junction with St Mary’s Square to its junction with Crown Street while resurfacing work takes place. Mustow Street will also close at the same time.
Diversions will be in place during the closure, which will take place between 7pm and 7am. The road will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists throughout.
The work is likely to take place on Thursday and Friday.
