Photo opportunities: 11am to 5pm, Sunday 15 June 2008, Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds.
A brilliant way to spend Fathers' Day, the Nowton Park Country Fair combines awesome arena events with traditional country pastimes and the opportunity for a little light shopping in a beautiful setting.
In the main arena, there are the Spiderman Stunt Show, the Raptor Foundation Falconry Display, and Giant Japanese Wrestlers as well as a local performance from Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Bury St Edmunds. Among the Children's attractions are giant inflatables, a flight simulator, mini Landrovers and a climbing wall.
Now in its 19th year, the fair is an established date in the west Suffolk calendar, providing a day out for the whole family. While there is plenty of action, there is also peace and quiet in the spacious, rolling grounds and the opportunity to picnic in a wild flower meadow or beneath grand trees. Admission is free and car parking costs £4.
