Spring is around the corner and the clocks will soon go forwards – and to mark the start of British Summer Time, Moyse’s Hall Museum will be holding a special event to appeal to all the family.
Taking inspiration from the new exhibition of clocks showcased as part of the ‘Faces of Time’ display, families will be invited to design and make their own clocks to take away. The workshop will take place on Sunday, 25 March and starts at 2pm.
Cllr Paul Farmer, St Edmundsbury’s Portfolio Holder for Arts and Culture, said:
“This provides the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the new displays at Moyse’s Hall before trying their hand at making clocks of their own. Workshops at this popular town centre museum always fill up quickly – so don’t forget to book your place early to make the most of this chance to tap into your creativity in ideal surroundings.”
The workshop costs £6 per group/ family (maximum five people). To book a place, contact the museum by telephoning 01284 706183.
