Temporary road closure – St John’s Street

St John’s Street, in Bury St Edmunds, will close to traffic from next Monday (18 June).

 

The road will close from its junction with Brentgovel Street to the junction with St John’s Place. A section of Brentgovel Street, from its junction with St Andrew’s Street North and St John’s Street, will also close. Both roads will stay shut for up to 12 weeks while National Grid carry out work to replace gas pipes.

 

Diversions will be in place directing traffic along Ipswich Street and St Andrew’s Street North. The roads will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.
