A unique ‘armchair tour’ exploring the history of Bury St Edmunds is to take place – providing the perfect opportunity for people to take a fascinating peek into the town’s past.
The illustrated lecture examines the changes the Bury has gone through over the centuries and will look at how the town has developed, the changes which have taken place, what has stayed the same and what the future may hold. The talk will also explain how Bury’s layout was developed, where the market used to be and how the shops have changed.
The lecture will take place on Saturday, 30 September between 2 and 4pm. Tickets cost £3.60 for adults and £3.10 concessions, including light refreshments. Booking is essential as the talk is very popular.
