A brilliant way to spend Fathers’ Day, this year the Nowton Park Country Fair combines jaw-dropping arena events with traditional country pastimes, a beautiful setting and the opportunity for a little light shopping.
The colourfully costumed London Chinese Acrobats will be performing astonishing feats. Company members have trained in China from as young as age six and have a minimum of twenty years' experience, performing all over the world.
Team MAD is the UK's most established and successful professional mountain bike stunt team. They will wow visitors with death-defying leaps, jumps and hops from their stunt rigs, getting up close and personal with the audience.
Skill of another order is demonstrated by Gamegoer country displays. Graham and Karen Watkins will bring some lively characters from the working dog, hawk and ferret worlds into the arena in a fascinating display, including audience participation.
Now in its 18th year, the fair is an established date in the west Suffolk calendar, providing a day out for the whole family. While there is plenty of action, there is also peace and quiet in the spacious, rolling grounds and the opportunity to picnic in a wild flower meadow or beneath grand trees. Admission is free and car parking costs £3.
