Young people in St Edmundsbury are putting on a night of live music and entertainment called Mix and Blend at the Corn Exchange in Bury St Edmunds from 7pm to 11.30pm on Friday 15 February.
Mix and Blend features four live bands, including ‘Student’, (popular winners of this year’s BurySOUND competition), DJs, fire breathers and large screen Playstations. It is for young people aged 13 and over.
The event, first held last year, attracts enthusiastic support.
Tickets are on sale now and demand will be high. They are priced £3 and are available in Bury St Edmunds from soundsplus; the bus and coach station, Hardcore Hobbies and the Tourist Information Centre on Angel Hill. They will also be available on the door at £5.
Mix and Blend is an alcohol, drug and smoke free event run by St Edmundsbury Youth Forum with professional support from St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Suffolk Youth Service, Bury Youth Council and the Youth Opportunity Fund.
