A by-election to fill the vacant seat on Bury St Edmunds Town Council will be held on 16 November.
Nominations for the Eastgate Ward seat must be sent to the returning officer at St Edmundsbury Borough Council between Wednesday, 11 October and 12 noon on Friday, 20 October.
Polling stations will be at St James Middle School in the Vinefields and at the Baptist Church Hall in Garland Street. They will be open between 7am and 10pm.
Anyone who wishes to vote by post must complete an application by 5pm on 1 November. Application forms are available from Electoral Services on (01284) 757131.
