Nominations closed at 4pm on Thursday 13 May for the by-election in Haverhill East Ward. The nominations for election as a borough councillor are as follows:

Mabon Oliver Dane (Haverhill Representative Alliance) of 32A Withersfield Road, Haverhill.
George Francis Hatchell (Labour Party) of 2 Shire Court, Haverhill.
Leslie Dennis Warmington (Liberal Democrat) of 13 Stour Vale, Stoke Road, Clare, Sudbury.
The election is being held on Thursday 10 June 2004 along with the European Parliamentary election on the same day. If you will be away on this day you can arrange to have a postal vote by contacting Electoral Services on 01284 757131 for an application form. The deadline for postal vote requests is 5pm on Wednesday 2 June 2004.
