Questions on this theme will be answered in a lecture at Moyse’s Hall Museum at 2pm on Sunday 24 February 2008, looking at the fashionable female shapes of the twentieth century.
Emma Taylor, Norwich Museums Development Officer and formerly curator of textiles and dress at the V and A, London returns to Moyse’s Hall, Bury St Edmunds, following the sell-out success of her first lecture.
From the narrow waist and big skirts of the 1950s to the shift designs of the 60s and 70s, Emma will be looking at how women changed their shape to fit the fashion of the day.
Places cost £3.60 adults/ £3.10 concessions which includes entry to the museum together with light refreshment. Booking is essential to ensure a place. Telephone 01284 706183
