Food for free

4 April, 2008

West Stow will be offering an intriguing and informative walk on the wild side with bush craft expert Rob Bevington, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 19 April. Our very own 'Ray Mears' will be exploring the natural food available in the country park during this family bush craft day for adults and children from age 10 years upwards.

Throughout time people have learned to live with what nature provides, according to the seasons. The workshop will also include wildlife observation, secrets of animal tracking – and much more! The day costs £12 per person. Children aged 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult, who will be admitted free. Booking is essential.

Bring a packed lunch as you won't necessarily be eating the wild food you discover! Our café will be open from 11am – 4pm.

To book a place, or for more details, please telephone 01284 728718.
