The BURYSOUND All Dayer just got bigger! With such an abundance of local talent to fit into this annual event, we’ll be celebrating the variety of the local music scene over an entire weekend in February making it the biggest event yet.
The BurySOUND Weekender will be held at the Corn Exchange in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February and will feature a medley of bands from across the region, including the winners of BurySOUND 2004, The Secret Hairdresser and previous BurySOUND winners Miss Black America and Blue Gandhi (now known as Diastole).
On the Saturday evening, there will be an impressive line up from local bands Despite Tuesday’s Plan, Mouse-Drawn Cart, Nitch and Diastole. On the Sunday there will be Heroics, Delfini, Out Patience, My Epic Enemy, Logan, Deceiver, Methods of Punishment, The Khe Sahn Approach, 8 Lives Left, The Fashion and Miss Black America.
Tickets for the BurySOUND Weekender are on sale now for £8 from the following places in Bury St Edmunds; the bus and coach station, Hardcore Hobbies, MVC, Sounds Plus and Sunrise. Credit card bookings can also be made through the Bury St Edmunds Tourist Information Centre on 01284 764667 and will incur a 50p booking fee.
Doors will open at 7.30pm on Saturday 19 February with the first band featuring at 8pm. On Sunday 20 February, doors open at 1pm with the first band on at 1.30pm. Tickets can also be bought on the door for £10 each subject to availability.
