This part of the St Edmundsbury Borough Council website includes those details held on a computer system, relating to Planning and Building Control. Planning Applications Plans and other documents will be added for planning applications from the 1 December 2005. Before this date, plans and other documents are not available online. The details held on the computer system date back to early 1982. Before that date there are paper records. Please do not rely on information from this site as an alternative to traditional searches, where completeness of information is essential.
Building Control Full information regarding Building Control is available from 1989 on paper, since 1992 some basic information is held on computer. However the computer records do not contain plans or documents. Between 1974 and 1989 only the decision notices are available. From early 2006 all information will be held on computer.
