Replacement St Edmundsbury Borough Local Plan 2016
On 27 June 2006, St Edmundsbury Borough Council adopted the Replacement St Edmundsbury Borough Local Plan 2016. The adopted plan forms part of the development plan for the area of St Edmundsbury and forms the basis for decisions on land-use planning affecting that area.
Under the provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, all policies in the Replacement Local Plan 2016 were initially saved for a period of three years. In April 2009 St Edmundsbury gained a letter of approval (PDF 36Kb) from Go-East to save (with the exception of two) all of the Local Plans policies until its Local Development Framework documents are adopted.
