Implementing E-government Statement

Between 2001-2002 to 2005-2006 St Edmundsbury Borough Council received £900,000 grant from the government to make services available electronically. That is to enable the public to access our services by website or telephone where this is appropriate.

Each year during this period, the council had to submit an IEG (Implementing Electronic Government) Statement to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) describing progress and plans relating to e-government targets.

The council was successful in delivering these required targets.
