Please put your ideas or suggestions on the complaints, comments and suggestions form and we will take these into account as we continue with the changes to streamline our service.
If you are happy with the service but disagree with the outcome of your claim for Housing and/or Council Tax benefits you can ask that we explain this to you; that we look at the decision again or that your appeal be heard by the Appeals Service of the Department of Work and Pensions. Any request to consider the decision again should be made within one month of the date of the decision letter which is sent to you. You can ask for a reconsideration or explanation by completing the form contained in the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit appeals (PDF 1.3Mb) leaflet.
