Energy efficiency and local businesses

 

St Edmundsbury aims to provide advice not only for domestic properties, but also commercial premises.

West Suffolk Green Business Forum is an independent network of local businesses for all sizes working together to improve their activities through best environmental practice, and St Edmundsbury Borough Council is proud to be part of the West Suffolk Green Business Forum. The next event is "Making and selling electricity" (PDF 39.5Kb) on 27 May. Following this there will be another event to be held in Lowestoft called "Orbis Energy" (PDF 47Kb) (see links for further information).

The Carbon Trust is an independent company funded by Government. Their role is to help the UK move to a low carbon economy by helping business and the public sector reduce carbon emissions now, and capture the commercial opportunities of low carbon technologies.
