Aran Services are offering generous fixed price insulation schemes to help make sure that homes are properly insulated this winter. Cavity wall insulation and loft insulation for lofts with less than 60mm of insulation are fixed at £169. These measures are free to the Over 70s and households in receipt of qualifying benefits.

British Gas scheme
St Edmundsbury Borough Council has teamed up with British Gas to offer cavity wall and loft insulation at discounted prices to homeowners in the Borough along with a £75 credit through your Council Tax.
Installing cavity wall insulation and loft insulation can:
- cut your heating bills
- make your home warmer
- reduce your carbon footprint
Installation prices for a three bedroom semi-detached house are approximately £250 for cavity wall insulation and £275 for loft insulation.

You do not need to be a British Gas customer to benefit from this initiative.

Warm Front scheme
Warm Front is a government-funded scheme which provides grants to make your home warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient.
There are various types of grants available to improve energy efficiency; however, some do require you to be in receipt of a benefit. For further information please see Keep Warm Keep Well (PDF 2Mb).
