In accordance with Regulation 11D of the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications)(Amendment)(England) Regulations 2008, from 2nd June 2008, the borough council will be charging for any request seeking the discharge of conditions which are attached to planning permissions.

The fee is

  • £85 per request
  • £25 where the planning permission is for extending or altering a dwelling house or other development within the curtilege of a dwelling house.

The fee must be paid when the request is made.

Any number of conditions may be included on a single request which can either be made in writing with the number of the permission and the condition(s) being clearly identified, or the request can be submitted on the standard 1 APP form (Form V) . If the request is relating to materials the material samples form (PDF 29Kb) must also be submitted.

Cheques should be made payable to St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

Further information relating to requests for the confirmation of compliance with planning conditions can be found in the Department for Communities and Local Government Circular 04/2008 (para 123-131).
