All premises which have cooling towers and evaporative condensers in the St Edmundsbury Borough Council area must be registered with Environmental Health & Housing Services (Registration Form EH019) as according to the Cooling Towers & Evaporative Condensers Regulation 1992.
The main reason for this is to identify areas which could give rise to the spread of infectious diseases e.g. legionella.
