The council issues three different types of concessionary travel.

  1. Bus passes - persons who are over 60 years of age, are blind or disabled are entitled to free travel passes.

Free national bus travel from 1 April 2008

For more information visit National Bus Pass

  2. Travel vouchers - persons who are unable to use conventional public travel because of 'severe mobility impairment' may be entitled to vouchers to use with selected taxi companies or community transport.

    More information on Travel Vouchers.

  3. Railcards - persons who are over 60 years are entitled to senior railcards for only £18. To apply you need to complete an application form at the Borough Offices, Angel Hill or the Haverhill Council Office and provide evidence of your age. Further information and an application form is available on the senior railcards website.
