Food Hygiene Training
Who is the course intended for?
Food safety law requires all food handlers to be trained according to their food handling work activities. This course provides essential knowledge and understanding of good hygiene practice for anyone who prepares open, high risk foods.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements but candidates should be 16 years or older.

How long is the course?
The one-day course starts at 9am and finishes 4.30pm - usually at the Borough Offices, Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds.
How do candidates complete the course and obtain a certificate?
Candidates must attend the full one-day course and successfully complete a short multiple choice test at the end of the day. Arrangements can be made, upon request, for an alternative oral test to be taken.
How much does that course cost?
£50 including tea/coffee and lunch.
