Animal Warden Service

The Animal Warden is part of the Environmental Health team and routinely patrol the streets of Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and the rural parishes investigating complaints and promoting responsible dog ownership. The warden is also responsible for collecting stray dogs and dealing with all types of complaints relating to animals. See below for more information on the service.

To contact the Animal Warden phone 01284 757058 or email env.health@stedsbc.gov.uk. If you need to report a stary dog out of office hours (before 8:30am or after 5pm) please contact the Out of Hours Service on 01284 763252 and leave details.
